Career Open House coming on June 23

ITC instructors were busy answering questions from students interested in the Information Technology industry at our March Open House.
Focus: HOPE invites the public to learn about our career training programs at an Open House on Wednesday, June 23. Representatives from our programs will provide information on admissions requirements, program specifics, and job opportunities from 12 noon until 6 p.m. in the Center for Advanced Technologies, 1400 Oakman Boulevard just east of Linwood, Detroit.
Qualified attendees may be eligible for scholarships.
At the open house, instructors from all the programs will explain their curriculum, including how each program incorporates hands-on learning experiences. Education options include training in machining and CNC operations, certification programs in information technology, a new weatherization program that prepares students for green jobs; and a new Health care Career Training program that prepares students for Patient Care Technician and Certified Nursing Assistant jobs.
Focus: HOPE also offers a skill enhancement course that enables students to dramatically improve reading, math and communication skills. Graduates of the programs are eligible for college degree programs in engineering and information management / systems engineering.
