Generation of Promise Class 30 Graduation and Capstone Showcase
Generation of Promise friends, family, and community celebrate the accomplishments of the program’s 30th Class of young leaders! Students also share their community-based Capstone Projects addressing police brutality and criminal justice reform, education justice, environmental justice, and immigration justice.

CDF Freedom Schools combat summer learning loss, a phenomenon that disproportionately affects low-income children. Instead of declining over the summer, HOPE Village CDF Freedom Schools students’ reading levels increased by an average of nine months over the course of the six-week program.

Keep It 100!
On July 16th, 17th and 18th over 10,000 volunteers came to the HOPE Village neighborhood in Detroit to help clean up. Many of the volunteers were youth from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ECLA) Gathering. Here’s a look at the event.
