AmeriCorps Week 2020

AmeriCorps Week, March 8-14, 2020, is a celebration of all things AmeriCorps – from the programs and organizations that make this national service initiative possible in communities across the country, to the members who have pledged to “Get Things Done” since the program’s inception in 1994. At Focus: HOPE, we have some special activities planned to celebrate and commemorate the AmeriCorps members who have served in our organization:

Sunday = Shout-out Sunday (Women’s Month edition)

We will highlight our AmeriCorps members’ most influential women through social media

Monday = Mindfulness Monday

We will highlight some tips from our AmeriCorps members on how they practice mindfulness

Tuesday = Teamwork Tuesday

We will celebrate our AmeriCorps members’ hard work through a game day during the lunch hour

Wednesday = Why we serve Wednesday

Our AmeriCorps members will be highlighted through picture or video about why they decided to serve through AmeriCorps

Thursday = Throwback Thursday #TBT

We will be posting a group photo of our current AmeriCorps members along with photos of our previous AmeriCorps members

Friday = Friendship Friday

We will highlight the amazing friendships created at Focus: HOPE through our AmeriCorps program

Saturday = Success Saturdays

We will highlight success stories from our AmeriCorps members

We hope to make this week special for our AmeriCorps members, as we appreciate the hard work and dedication they’ve put into their service year. Focus: HOPE thanks you for your service!
